Biochemistry and Origin of Life Apologetics
by Steve Lem
One of the most important questions in science is what is the origin of life and the first cell. One of the most remarkable and defining aspects of is the ability to reproduce itself. Reproduction like this is so complex that nothing man has designed has that capability. In contrast to man’s design work, the life’s machinery operates at the molecular level of biochemistry. Many has just begun to be able design even the simplest of molecular machines. That is nowhere near the immense complexity of even the simplest lifeforms. Without a naturalistic origin of life there is no way for biologic evolution to begin or exist as claimed in textbooks.
Close behind the the question of life’s origin is the origin of of information itself and language to store and convey information in an intelligible form. Information and language is never observed to come from anywhere except intelligence. Eventually we get to the questions of the origin of self consciousness and beyond that spiritual existence.
