We will see and discuss two DVDs from geologist Dr. Emil Silvestru. Dr. Silvestru's specialty is the geology associated with cave formations. His DVD titled Geology & Cave Formations, A Post-Flood Story has some fascinating implications about the process by with which the earth approached a new equilibrium after the great flood.
We will also see Dr Silvestru's DVD titled Rocks Around the Clock, The Eons That Never Were. It is fascinating that much of the expected evidence for the conventionally supposed long eons of time is missing from the geologic strata.
September 25 GHCA Meeting Presentation: What Did God Create? New Model of Space Physics Simply Explained Speaker: David Grissom, P.E. PhD Dr. Grissom will take us on a great adventure in physics. In the 1970s physics professor M. Simhony of the Hebrew University developed a formulation of modern physics starting with a definition of just what space itself is and how matter and radiation interact with space. The result is a much simpler, and to some, a more coherent way of thinking than the conventional approach that was accumulated though the history of science. Some others say it is simply unneeded and it has not gained a large following. But still, Simhony’s effort is similar to the endeavor of young earth creation science; we endeavor to rebuild science on a different foundation of basic assumptions while still incorporating all solidly repeatable experimental science. So a look at Simhony’s physics should be a great exercise for creationist. Be ready for a good mental workout! Be ready to think outside the box! Dr. Grissom promises to bring all to a good basic understanding of Simhony that will flex some new mental muscles.
