March 2, GHCA meeting and webinar, 7 pm
Morality and Answers for the Problem of Evil
by Steven Lem
If a good God exists, why is there so much evil in the world? This question, more than any other, is the reason people give for why they reject God. But is their rejection rational or is it simply an emotional appeal fallacy? Even the most well intentioned and intelligent people fall prey to their emotions.
During the February meeting, Mr. Lem explained logic, logical fallacies, the necessary existence of God and what God’s attributes must be. The God of the Bible matches these attributes; one of which is Morality. What is Morality? What is Evil? How can a rational and moral God allow evil?
These questions will be addressed at the next GHCA meeting on March 2nd at 7:00 pm.
