Instead of a regular meeting GHCA will host an all-day course below.

August 13, 2022    8:30 am to 5:30 pm

GHCA will host a full-day creation apologetics course that will expand and unify your knowledge of Biblical Creation and the associated issues in science and apologetics. The end goal and emphasis of this intensive course is to enable us to respond to skeptics and critics of Biblical Creation in a kind, confident, effective and productive way.

July 7,    The Discovery of Genesis in Chinese

by  Scott Lane,  President of SABBASA in San Antonio

Scott is a veteran of teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level: he has a Masters in Education from Texas A&M and he has won teaching awards in 1988, 1990, and 2001.

The first written Chinese was developed around 2500 BC . It used a list of pictographs that represented some basic things or concepts and these were combined into more complex words and sentences. Pastors, missionaries, and some scholars recognized that this system of pictographs contains many elements that seem to harken back to the Genesis creation and flood accounts! But of course this language was developed more than a thousand years before Moses wrote down these Genesis accounts so how can this be? This presentation will answer this and many more fascinating questions.

June 2, GHCA Meeting

June 2,     Creation and the human Soul

by Dr. Cameron Grysen

The next GHCA meeting will be on June 2nd and we will have the honor of welcoming guest speaker Dr. Cameron Grysen who has a PhD in Christian Apologetics and  along with a Doctor of Biblical Studies degree. Cameron is the author of two books, “Reasoning for the Truth of Christianity”, and “Our Young Dying Son”.

Currently Cameron is the President of Metroplex Institute of Origin Science (M.I.O.S.) in Dallas where he brings his education in the Bible and Apologetics and his experience in forensic investigations to bear on creation science issues.

Resent scientific research on the soul has been giving us new insight into the human soul. We will be seeing how this scientific evidence and philosophical conclusions fits into what the Bible has to say about it. This is a subject we seldom hear about and I am sure you will find this to be a fascinating subject. This lecture will give you a different look at what compromises our souls.
