Answers to Challenges from Uniformitarians 2

Last month we began addressing the challenges we have received from our uniformitarian friends. This month we will continue with the list of challenges starting with the famous zircon diffusion problem and continuing with C-14 consistently found in dinosaur bones and other fossils and indeed rocks that conventional geologist class as hundreds of millions of years old.

We will also look at the fundamental differences between the uniformitarian model and the young supernatural creation and flood model. We will see that it makes no sense to take to take something from one model and insert it into the other. That will not work because the two models are so different at their foundation. The only thing that can make sense is to look at how each model handles each body of observational data. That way one can truly understand the strengths and weaknesses of each model.

Answers to Challenges from Uniformitarians

In recent months we at the GHCA have received challenges from our uniformitarian friends so we will take time to concentrate on answering some of these. That is not to say we have answers for everything so we will also look at what I see as our strongest challenges to the uniformitarians and our most important unanswered questions in our minds. Reporting on the Annual CRS Conference

On August 5th I will report on the papers presented at the annual conference of the Creation Research society (CRS). The CRS is the oldest of the five national scale creation organization with ongoing research and publication presenting that research. The CRS annual conference is an event that brings the active researchers including PhD’s in many fields of science to present results of their ongoing research. In the process of bringing others up to date they will also receive questions, critique, and suggestions that are often very valuable aids to forward progress.  Of course the opportunity for personal face to face greetings and conversation is a joy to all of us. It is a blessing to be reminded that although there are many challenges there is also much progress being made by our diligent efforts and the inspiration of our Lord.
