Geology of the Flood by Geology PhDs,
Part 5: A New Equilibrium after the Flood
This month geologists Dr. Austin and Wise will preset lectures about how the Genesis Flood subsided after it peaked in a worldwide event. They will discuss what happened geologically as the initial energy of the Flood was dissipated and declined toward the new near equilibrium state that we see today. This lecture is part five in our series on Flood geology by geology PhDs.
In the first four lectures we saw there is very strong physical evidence that Dr. John Baumgardner’s theory of Catastrophic Plate Tectonics (CPT) explains much more than conventional slow and gradual “continental drift” thinking. CPT also explains the cause of the specific continental motions, the geologic position and temperature of cold subducting slabs that are now observed in the mantle, and much about the strata that was laid down across continents.
In future lectures we will look at how Flood geology explains the fossil content now observed in the geologic column. Then we will examine the radioactive isotope content of the geologic column, much of which is ignored in conventional old age thinking. Finally, we will consider how new languages and civilization developed after the Flood and were dispersed around the world producing the archaeology and ancient and Biblical history known today.
This series on Flood geology represents a paradigm shift in progress! Don’t miss the great adventure. Sign up for our newsletter to keep up. Look at our newsletter archive to catch up.
